“We will continue our activity after adhan,” the conductor commanded.
—

“A…what?” he asked.
“It’s adhan.”
“What is that?”
“The sound that you’re hearing right now. It’s a reminder for Muslim to pray.”
“So are we required to keep in silence?”
“Yes, we are.”
“Ah, I see,” he nodded.

He, then, saw his friend enjoying the angklung and said in Korean, “Hey, silent!”

I smiled.
And I looked to the right, haha.
Perhaps because we are accustomed to hear this reminder, we forget to do what we are asked to do. 

“Bang, tadi mereka kan….”
“Oh ya, oke oke. Sorry, haha.”

An irony?
